Louisiana Community Marketplace
The purpose of Louisiana Community Marketplace (LCM) is to raise funds for Louisiana nonprofit organizations, schools and churches. Every purchase made through LCM directly benefits our sponsoring nonprofit organizations through the payment of commissions by participating online stores. LCM was founded in September 2010 and officially launched in August 2011 at the Annual Louisiana Association of Nonprofit Organizations (LANO) conference in New Orleans. LCM is owned and operated by Baton Rouge nonprofit HOPE Ministries, a Capital Area United Way partner agency and LANO member. LCM is sponsored in part by ExxonMobil Baton Rouge and has been partially funded by the Wilson Foundation.

Kroger Neighbor to Neighbor Donation Program
Kroger will donate a percentage of your in-store purchase to Hope House. Simply print a copy of this letter and present it to the cashier at your next visit. The cashier will scan the barcode, which will then link Hope House to your Kroger Plus Shopping Card. After that, every purchase you make using your Kroger Plus card thru April 30, 2012 will earn money for Hope House. It's that simple!

Recycle First
Recycle First is a program that allows Hope House to increase our funds by recycling used printer cartridges and copier toners. We accept empty cartridges and toners at our Learning Center during regular operating hours. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator for more information by calling 487-2061 or emailing volunteer@cenlahopehouse.org

Donations
Donations are accepted at the Learning Center and Warehouse. Both are located across the street from the shelter, in the same building as the Business Office. Donations are accepted Monday thru Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon only. We ask that you do not leave your donations at the House. Please bring them to the Learning Center so that they can be properly distrubuted. Often times, people will drop items under the Hope House carport at the shelter only to be exposed to the elements of the weather. It takes a team effort to ensure that donations are appropriately and fairly distributed to our residents. Please help us by dropping your donation off during the hours listed at the specified location of 24 Bolton Avenue-Hope House Learning Center.

Also, due to budget restrictions, we will no longer be able to pick up personal donations. The cost of gas is rising and we have limited funds for this type of activity. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Items accepted include: women's and children's clothing, furniture, unexpired canned goods, household goods, cleaning supplies, baby items, children's toys and books
